‘One must make a conscious decision to not only exist…but live…intentionally’
Be conscious of who you are and what you could potentially become – To live intentionally is to live your life on purpose. It is to have a clear aim in what you aspire to do but foremost; it is to come to a level of consciousness in identifying who you are and allowing yourself to gracefully become. Lack of identity in who you are will cause you to have no real sense of direction, and you adjust accordingly to the movements of the majority, as you rely on others or chances to decide your fate and destinies. One of the most fundamental lessons that one must acquire very early in life is, ‘your definition or formation of self should not be determined by others perception of you. You must not rely on others approval to the extent of becoming co-dependent on the value they place on you’. When others are made to validate you, they will possibly see you as they see themselves, and so they may place their own limitation on you.
It is also important that you know who you are not. You are not an alternative, not a substitute and you are definitely not an extra. Hence the importance of allowing the essence of your true self to manifest so the world can enjoy your amazing and gifted self. Knowing who you are will let you live your life on purpose as you avoid the things and people who are not in alignment with whom you are becoming. You are also very much more aware of the importance of embracing your journey in life, knowing that things will eventually come into formation and experiences are just equipping you to maintain the result. Knowing who you are is core to your existence.
One thing that hinders our becoming is our past experiences, but we have already ‘been’ so it’s time for us to ‘become’. You are ‘be – coming’ and not a finished product, so allow yourself the opportunity and privilege to ‘come’ into who you are supposed to ‘be’.
Be enlightened about your purpose—Many have yet to understand that they are purposeful beings and so they live life unplanned for with no sense of direction. They move with the wind and find themselves in places trying to fit in positions they are not equipped to manage. Sometimes people get rejected not because they are incompetent as a human being but because they are not fit for that position. What they are however fit for is their purpose. Purpose has every potential to dictate your movements and direct your step. Purpose satisfies your hunger and quenches your thirst. What some people often struggle with is to identify their purpose. Purpose is whatever you are passionate about. Purpose is anything that moves you and you want to do something about it. Purpose is using your gift to serve others. I can almost hear you saying, ‘I don’t know what my gift is.’ Your gift is whatever comes naturally to you and is of great benefit to others.
The benefit of living in purpose is rewarding. You are rewarded by a higher level of contentment, fulfilment and achievement. A lot of people are living an unfulfilled life in spite of having a degree and access to substantial amount of money. Fulfilment is not something that happens from an outside influence. It is allowing what is inside of you to manifest on the outside. Therefore, as you empty the substance you carry, you are empty but still full. You are full because you feel fulfilled. Another benefit of purpose is that it let you embrace who you are and appreciate who the other person is. This is in line with knowing that each and everyone has different reasons for been here and is just as impactful and effective to the world. The frustration that one sometimes feels when faced with the inevitable or challenges of this world comes from not living an intentional life of purpose and truth. Make purpose the very essence of your being.
Be awakened and enlightened about the higher source – One of the most liberating feelings is to know where you come from. Knowing where you come from gives you a sense of direction in knowing where you are going and what you are about. When connected to a source, you judge your ability and capability on the substance the source possess. You are fed by the source. You are maintained by the source. You are sustained by the source. So whenever you are running dry, you access your infinite source. Connection to your higher source gives meaning to life. It makes life more manageable in its most simplistic form. Chaos in life sometimes comes from not having a sense of belonging. It comes from feeling alone with no infinite source or ‘refuelling’ and guidance to turn to.
Always remember…you are an extraordinary being with the essence of greatness embedded in your soul. You are your innate abilities, your amazing evolving personality and what you possess the world has yet to experience from your own unique perspective. You cannot afford to desire to be someone else and defaults on who you truly are and who you could potentially become. Imitating another will limit your potential of becoming your best self. It is a repeat of who already exist. You must be true to the essence of you where you identify and manifest your uniqueness and natural abilities. You cannot afford to disregard your true self just so you can tread familiar ground. You are a pioneer. The world is waiting on your manifestation to further evolve.
A note to the unbeliever of the One and Only True and Infinite Source ‘Jesus Christ’.
‘To impose my religious belief on anyone is not my intention, but I often get frustrated with people who conclude that God doesn’t exist. You cannot rule out someone or something without definite, concrete, reliable or valid evidence. Our belief creates our reality. Some might say they try God and nothing works. My friend, you have yet to meet the true and loving God. To experience something or someone in great intensity, one has to make the sacrifice to surrender, not partially but entirely, to the higher being, who does not restrict your freedom but seek to guide your steps into productive and fruitful living’.
